As the 2022 Gold Stevie Award Winner for Woman of the Year - Social Media, Dr Karen Sutherland is a passionate (and multi-award winning) social media educator, author and researcher with more than 20 years' experience working in marketing and communication roles for companies such as ABCTV, the Australian Red Cross and more.

A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in London, Dr Karen has designed and delivered highly successful social media courses and workshops for more than a decade for universities, non-profit organisations and for small business owners around the world.

Dr Karen also provides social media coaching to a wide range of wellness professionals as Co-Founder and Social Media Specialist at Dharana Digital, and has helped some of her clients increase their client base by 40%.
